Debbie truly feels it is a privilege and honor to assist her patients on their journey. Her empathy is on display with tears in her eyes, soft touch and heart felt hugs. My mom was a challenging patient from the beginning because her condition couldn't be treated in the usual methods, but Debbie never gave up. She consulted other medical personnel outside of Pilgrimage, think up ways to provide comfort outside the box etc. No matter how tired she would be, Debbie loved her patients, never rushed her visits, and always gave them more than 100%. She made everyone feel special. Her hugs were not a mere courtesy or formality, but heartfelt and reassuring that everything would be okay. During the last week of mom's life, one of those nights Debbie was on-call. Debbie slept in her clothes on the couch and gave me her personal cell # so that she would be ready for our call. Mom didn't pass that evening but Debbie's selfless devotion and compassion truly touched me and my family. In 6 months we became quite attached to her and I miss her as a friend. -Daughter of a home patient in Greentree, Pa.
Thank you all so much for your help! This is all so much to navigate, but your team is ON IT! We really praise all of your hard work! -Daughter of a Home patient in Kennedy Township, Pa.
